The annual National Meeting of Economics organized by the ANPEC provides the opportunity to economists and professionals of related areas to share knowledge and experiences. Held every December, the ANPEC meeting is the most important national scientific conference to attend in the field of economics.
During the conference, several sessions are convened to provide outlets for unpublished original papers selected by a scientific committee. Papers are expected to explore the state of the art in economic theory, political economy, and econometrics. Papers may also address issues of national and regional relevance, which are discussed in panels and themed sessions.
The meeting is also attended by international renowned researchers.
To ensure wide circulation of all papers presented at the annual meetings, the ANPEC usually publishes the conference proceedings, which also contains all materials discussed in plenary sessions. All papers and materials are also made available electronically on our website.
